The Department of Radiology at Northwell Health is seeking a Staff Interventional Radiologist at Lenox Hill Hospital and Goldman Pavilion in New York City. This is a unique career opportunity to complement a thriving academic radiology department and outpatient interventional radiology center in one of the nation’s largest health systems.
The successful candidate will join a rapidly growing Interventional Radiology section at Lenox Hill Hospital and the Goldman Pavilion on the Upper East Side. The new outpatient center at Goldman Pavilion will open in January 2027 and will feature two new state-of-the-art interventional suites focused on oncologic interventional radiology along with outpatient consult space. This adds to the four suites currently at Lenox Hill Hospital. The candidate will join a system-wide division with 30 interventional radiologists and will practice full-time interventional radiology. We perform a broad range of IR procedures including angiography, arterial and venous interventions, uterine fibroid embolization, prostate artery embolization, thermal ablation, radioembolization, chemoembolization, TIPS, venous access, GU interventions, GI interventions, cholangioscopy, biliary procedures, and vertebroplasty on state-of-the-art equipment.
Lenox Hill Hospital is a tertiary care specialty hospital on the Upper East Side of Manhattan. The Goldman Pavilion is a 15-floor, 200,000 square foot multi-specialty medical complex that will be opening in 2027 and will include diagnostic radiology and interventional radiology as well as numerous medical specialties anchored by the innovative programs of Northwell Health’s Cancer Institute. The successful candidate will bring their expertise to the Lenox Hill Hospital team of radiologists providing subspecialized interventional radiology services and be actively involved in our 17-resident training program.

The ideal candidate will meet the following requirements:
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO), or foreign equivalent
- Completion of an IR/DR residency or an IR Fellowship at an ACGME-accredited institution
- Currently board-eligible or board certified in IR/DR
- Possess or ability to obtain an unrestricted NYS Medical License
