Position Overview
We are seeking a Full-Time Onsite Interventional & Diagnostic Radiologist to support both procedural and diagnostic imaging services across three hospital locations. This hybrid role offers a balanced practice including interventional procedures, cross-sectional and general diagnostic reads, and active collaboration with multidisciplinary clinical teams. The ideal candidate is proficient in both interventional and diagnostic radiology, thrives in a hospital-based environment, and is committed to delivering timely, high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities
Interventional Radiology
- Perform a full range of image-guided procedures including angiography, biopsies, catheter placements, vascular interventions, and ablations
- Provide procedural planning and imaging interpretation for IR cases
- Respond to inpatient and ED consults as needed
- Maintain procedural safety, quality, and regulatory compliance
Diagnostic Radiology
- Interpret X-ray, CT, MRI, ultrasound, and nuclear medicine studies
- Deliver accurate and timely diagnostic reports
- Support ED, inpatient, and outpatient imaging workflows
General Clinical Responsibilities
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (surgery, oncology, emergency medicine, hospitalists, etc.)
- Provide consultative support to referring physicians
- Utilize Cerner EMR and PACS for documentation and communication
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, peer review, and departmental meetings
- Maintain adherence to hospital and regulatory standards across all sites
Qualifications
- MD or DO degree
- Board Certified / Board Eligible in Interventional Radiology or Diagnostic Radiology (with IR experience preferred)
- Eligible for California medical licensure
- Strong proficiency in both procedural and diagnostic imaging (or willingness to maintain dual-practice model)
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, hospital-based environment
Compensation
- Competitive W-2 full-time compensation (commensurate with experience, training, and coverage model)
- Additional productivity-based incentives may be available
- Final compensation structure based on scope of IR + DX responsibilities and scheduling commitment
