The Body Imaging Section of the Baylor College of Medicine Department of Radiology in Houston, Texas, has an opening for a faculty member at the level of Assistant or Associate Professor.
Body Imaging faculty shifts rotate between coverage of a large hospital with a Level I Trauma Center in the Texas Medical Center and coverage of community imaging sites. The Baylor College of Medicine Department of Radiology has 48 radiology residents who participate in coverage of the large hospital in the Texas Medical Center and some community imaging sites.
The ideal candidate will be proficient in body imaging interpretation and have an interest in resident education. The faculty position provides opportunities for research and continuing medical education (CME). Faculty will also participate in the weekend daytime faculty call pool. Minimal light interventional procedures are included.
Candidates must have completed an ACGME-accredited residency. Fellowship training in abdominal/body imaging is preferred but not required. An unrestricted Texas medical license is required for credentialing.
