Nuclear Medical Technologist
The work requires a professional knowledge of the field of Nuclear Medicine technology and those aspects of chemistry, physics, mathematics, and the biomedical sciences related to Nuclear Medicine. It is expected that the incumbent receives guidance from higher level technologists and supervisory staff members regularly. The below are a list of duties at the full performance level (this is not all inclusive of the duties the incumbent will perform) General Nuclear Medicine: A. Performs routine nuclear medicine imaging procedures including static, dynamic and SPECT scans. Examples are bone, lung, thyroid, renal, and cardiovascular imaging, PET-CT, and image processing. B.
