The Department of Radiology at the University of New Mexico is seeking applications for Radiologists in Musculoskeletal Radiology, Neuroradiology, Abdominal Radiology and Cardio-thoracic Radiology. These are faculty positions that report to the Department Chair.
The successful candidate will provide primary diagnostic and consultative services in radiology for examinations performed at multiple locations. These positions are also responsible for mentoring and teaching medical students, residents, and fellows. Most daily clinical assignments involve resident or fellow supervision. All faculty contribute to resident didactic education and are encouraged to engage in clinical research or other scholarly activities. Research opportunities include diverse and growing translational imaging and image processing facilities and are supported by dedicated research and publications staff.
We are seeking these positions due to expansion in multiple subspecialties.
