Overview
AMG Orthopedics New Providence is currently seeking a Per Diem Radiographer to join our team.
Responsibilities
Essential Functions:
Performs diagnostic radiologic procedures according to departmental protocols and ensures all pertinent information is available
Obtains and records all required medical history from patient
Prepares and positions patients according to protocol with patient safety and quality imaging standards followed at all times
Practice universal precautions, and aseptic technique
Processes images using PACS technology
Reports equipment and image artifacts to appropriate personnel
Properly presents images in PACS, including anatomical orientation, image annotation and window/level
Completes required data in RIS/PACS system
Assesses all patients prior, during and after radiographic examination
Responds to patients needs in a professional manner and works as a collaborative team member in the department
Potential cross coverage with New Providence location
Flexible hours as shifts may change based on patient volumes and clinician schedules
Qualifications
Education:
- Graduate of an AAMA approved Radiography program
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Two (2) years Rad Tech experience in a medical office or hospital preferred
