AMG Orthopedics New Providence is currently seeking a Per Diem Radiographer to join our team.

Essential Functions:

• Performs diagnostic radiologic procedures according to departmental protocols and ensures all pertinent information is available

• Obtains and records all required medical history from patient

• Prepares and positions patients according to protocol with patient safety and quality imaging standards followed at all times

• Practice universal precautions, and aseptic technique

• Processes images using PACS technology

• Reports equipment and image artifacts to appropriate personnel

• Properly presents images in PACS, including anatomical orientation, image annotation and window/level

• Completes required data in RIS/PACS system

• Assesses all patients prior, during and after radiographic examination

• Responds to patients needs in a professional manner and works as a collaborative team member in the department

• Potential cross coverage with New Providence location

• Flexible hours as shifts may change based on patient volumes and clinician schedules

Education:

• Graduate of an AAMA approved Radiography program

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Two (2) years Rad Tech experience in a medical office or hospital preferred
