Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist (Diagnostic Ultrasound)
Diagnostic Ultrasound Technologist works directly with patients and Physicians. Technologist operates equipment that uses high-frequency soundwaves to obtain images of the body's internal organs. An Ultrasound Technologist is also known as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer. Sonographer operates diagnostic ultrasound equipment in inpatient and outpatient settings, as well as the operating room. Applicants pending the completion of educational or certification/licensure requirements may be referred and tentatively selected but may not be hired until all requirements are met.
