Current staffing: 3 MD and 12 CRNA’s
Low- Acuity Clinic (LAC).
2 mid-levels provide acute care to approx. 25 veterans per day during the hours of 8:00am – 6:00pm.
Ambulance Service consist of 4 Paramedics and 4 EMT’s.
Ambulance is staffed with a Paramedic & EMT until 12:00am Monday thru Friday. Weekends the Ambulance is staffed until 8:00pm.
Teaching Duke University SRNA’s, Military SRNA’s and medical students from Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine (VCOM) and University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (UNC).
Work Schedule/ Tour of Duty & Call Coverage include:
7:00am-3:00pm Monday – Friday
Night call 1/3 nights with 3 MD’s and ¼ nights with 4MD’s. Currently the CRNA’s take first and second call and MD’s take backup call and some second calls.
