MRI Technologist
A Radiological Technologist works under the direction of a radiologist utilizing radiographic, fluoroscopic and other high-tech imaging equipment. These Technologists are graduates of 2 or 4 year programs. Radiological Technologists must be certified by the American Registry of Radiological Technologists and licensed by the state of New York. Responsibilities: Performs radiographic exams as per facility specific protocol. Consistently produces high quality radiographs to include pertinent anatomy, evidence of collimation, appropriate position and exposure factors. Working knowledge of all equipment encompassing film/laser processing, radiographic and fluoroscopic equipment operation. Participates in department's quality assessment
