The Department of Radiation Oncology at Penn State Health Milton S. Hershey Medical Center and Penn State Cancer Institute is recruiting a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible faculty radiation oncologist for an Assistant Professor or higher position on either the tenure or non-tenure track. The level of faculty appointment and salary will be commensurate with experience and training. The physician will practice in our recently renovated department within the Cancer Institute on the campus of the Penn State Health Milton S. Hershey Medical Center in Hershey, PA. Interest or experience with brachytherapy, genitourinary, lymphoma/leukemia, breast, and/or gynecologic cancers is welcomed to support our growing multi-disciplinary team.
Penn State Health Milton S. Hershey Medical Center accrues more than 3,130 analytic cancer cases per year, and our radiation oncology team treats approximately 1,340 patients annually. Current equipment includes 2 Varian TrueBeams, Varian IX, Elekta Gamma Knife ICON, Siemens Dual Energy SPECT CT simulator, Eclipse treatment planning, ARIA, and Cerner EMR.
We participate in specialized treatments including HDR – Brachytherapy, SBRT, TBI, and pediatric radiation therapy.
