Job Summary

• Under limited supervision, the Ultrasound Technologist is responsible for diagnostic ultrasound imaging at a technical level not requiring constant supervision of technical details.
• Performs a variety of technical procedures that will require independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative to produce quality images for the radiologist's interpretation.
• The Ultrasound Technologist will demonstrate a professional approach in his/her work with emphasis on patient care, while still maintaining patient safety.
