The ideal candidate for this position will provide expert guidance in the diagnosis and management of breast conditions, working closely with our dedicated breast health team, but will have the flexibility to cover body imaging as needed. Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 am-4:30pm or 4- day compressed tour opportunities.
Practice Environment: Outpatient and Inpatient Settings.
Call Coverage: 1:12 weeks. UC Irvine residents provide after-hours preliminary reads and pager coverage, and National Teleradiology Program (NTP) covers after-hours final reads for emergent/ inpatient studies. The radiology attending is on back-up call.
Academic Affiliations: University of California, Irvine. Academic appointment with resident teaching opportunities.
Qualifications:
- MQSA and fellowship training in all breast modalities required; Breast/ Body fellowship preferred.
- Board Eligible/ Board Certified with a current, full, and unrestricted medical license from any state or U.S. territory.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
Incentives we offer:
- Pay:$350,000 starting annual salary, up to $15,000 annual performance pay, annual cost-of-living salary increases, and regular bi-annual longevity increases.
- Paid Time Off:50-55 days of paid time off per year (26 days annual leave, 13 days sick leave, 11 Federal holidays, and up to 5 annual CME days with preapproval).
