Overview: There is an immediate opening for a Medical Physics Assistant at Texas Oncology in the Central Texas Region, based in Austin, TX. The ideal candidate would be a recent CAMPEP medical physics program graduate who did not match with a residency program. The position encompasses a wide range of QA tasks, dosimetry tasks, radiopharmaceutical assistance, and clinical projects for 8 clinics in the area. The MPA would also work closely with two Medical Physics Residents. The position is designed to be mutually beneficial, providing the clinical teams with additional support and providing the MPA with valuable clinical experience to bolster their resume for the next residency cycle.
