Summary:The Radiologic Technologist performs a variety of tasks involved in operating x-ray equipment to make radiographs of designated body portions; adjusts equipment for proper radiographic exposure techniques in accordance with radiation safety guidelines; Explains x-ray procedures to patients; positions patients for each anatomical view using immobilization and protective equipment as appropriate.Responsibilities:Performs routine and emergent radiologic examinations or procedures including obtaining and documenting pertinent patient history, explaining the procedures to the patient, answering the patient's questions, and gaining the patient's written consent.
