Nuclear Medicine Technologist (Full Time)
Prepares measures and administers radiopharmaceuticals for use in diagnostic and therapeutic studies. Performs and assists with nuclear medicine studies. Is responsible for patient safety protocols. Maintains all federal, state, local and regulatory agency requirements. Participates in CQI activities.The Nuclear Medicine Technologist is responsible for performing an age-specific patient assessment prior to and during the Nuclear Medicine procedure, preparing the room and the patient for the procedure. The Nuclear Medicine Technologist is responsible for the operation of diagnostic Nuclear Medicine equipment for the performance of all Nuclear Medicine procedures at a technical level not requiring direct supervision.
