Overview Atlantic Health System is seeking a Per Diem Sonograher at the Center for Breast Health in Rockaway. The shift for this position is in the day and as needed. Responsibilities Essential Job Functions: Prepares patients for US Breast exams and explains the procedure to the patients prior to exam. Correlates the clinical history and the patient with the Breast US exam to be performed. Differentiates artifacts from the normal pathological processes and recognizes equipment limitations. Maintains lists of breast sonographic exams performed from each patient as well as document the preliminary reading by the radiologists.
