Under minimal supervision, performs complex diagnostic Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) procedures, as requested by a licensed physician.
Produces high quality diagnostic images while providing excellent patient care.
Completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period.
Other related duties as assigned.
Minimum: Graduate of an accredited school of Radiology Technology. Preferred: Associateâ��s Degree in Allied Health or Bachelorâ��s Degree and certification in another clinical imaging field
Minimum: 6 months in Magnetic Resonance Imaging with supervised clinical experience
Preferred: 1-3 years in MRI
Possession of current Texas Department of State Health license or Texas Medical Board - General Medical Radiologic Technologist Certificate.
Possession of ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) in Radiology or MRI.
Must have ARRT in MR or CAMRT within one year post graduation of accredited school, or before January 2018, whichever comes first.
PREFERRED CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURE: MRI National Certification
REQUIRED COURSES/ COMPLETIONS (e.g., CPR): BLS-Obtained through approved American Heart Association Training Center
