Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist (CT)
Requires knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and its application in CT, including drainages, biopsies, and peripheral vascular examinations. Training in the location, appearance, and function of the major and minor systems; understand the functioning and relationship of various organs; utilize the methods and technique which will identify organs; judge the acceptability of the image; emphasize important aspects of the exam. Knowledge in diagnostic radiography, portable radiography included. Duties, but are not limited to: CT Prioritizes exams in a manner so as to optimize scanner times while maintaining flexibility for STAT cases.
