We seek a CT Technologist for our state-of-the-art cancer treatment center in Manhattans Upper East Side on 74th Street ( The David H. Koch Center for Cancer Care) . This facility offers the highest standards of comprehensive cancer care delivered by MSK oncologists, in an environment designed to meet the unique needs of cancer patients and their families.
You will: Perform a variety of C.T. & x-ray imaging procedures that require independent judgment and ingenuity with minimal supervision, on patients of all age groups. Operate CT scanners and associated equipment safely and in accordance with established policies and practices. Explain procedures to patients, monitoring for patient safety and comfort, administering contrast (IV and/or Oral). Conduct imaging in accordance to established protocols and quality standards. Enter complete and accurate documentation into all MSK/Radiology systems.
You need: Associates Degree / Certified Vocational Training or Graduate of a 2 yr AMA approved Radiology school. ARRT in Radiography and C.T. NYS Department of Health License in Diagnostic Radiography, IV Certification.
Shift will vary during the hours of operation from 7am-7pm, including rotating Saturdays.
Business and operational needs may, at times, require incumbent for this position to work at various locations.
