Radiology Technologist
The Radiology Technologist is primarily responsible for equipment used during all Cath Lab and EP Lab cases and to function as a scrub tech. Under the direction of the electrophysiologist and/or cardiologist, performs various electrophysiology, Cath Lab and radiology services. Assists electrophysiologists and/or cardiologists as needed during procedures. Acquires the knowledge and skills to assist in the performance of all other procedures and new technologies, which arise during the course of research and development of new procedures, products and equipment. RESPONSIBILITIES: Properly identifies patients using the two hospital-wide patient safety identifiers. Maintains standards of care under the guidance of attending physician.
