Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist - MRSO
Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist/MR Safety Officer (MRSO) has the overall responsibility to operate independently without direct supervision. She/he is responsible for coordination of all MRI procedures and examinations as well as reconstructions using raw image data associated with these examinations. MRI examinations are performed with and without the use of contrast materials. The MRSO is responsible for the safety of patients, employees, and guests entering the magnetic environment. Major Duties include but are not limited to: Receives and interprets imaging requests. Inputs pertinent radiology information, (i.e. pre- and post-procedure notes) into patient electronic record, registers requests and edits exams via the computer radiology information system (RIS).
