Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist
Diagnostic Radiologic Technologists perform procedures and examinations in hospitals or clinics under the direction of radiologists and other medical officers. The objective of the examinations and procedures is to produce radiographic studies which are used in medical diagnosis and interpreted by medical officers to locate injuries, foreign bodies, pathological conditions or lesions within the body. Ability to utilize a variety of devices to assist with the transferring of patients to/from stretcher or wheelchair to radiographic table. Prepare and stock procedure/imaging rooms, operate imaging equipment and materials needed for a large variety of diagnostic and therapeutic patient procedures Receiving requests and/or instructions for radiologic procedures Interpreting requests and/or ins
