Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist
The incumbent serves as a Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist for the Mental Illness, Research Education Clinical Center (MIRECC) at the James J. Peters VA Medical Center performing radiologic examinations. This is a temporary part time position not to exceed 1 year. Temporary appointments are renewable on a yearly basis pending supervisor concurrence and availability of funding. Note: Salary is prorated by the number of hours worked. Operates equipment to perform routine and complex radiologic procedures to be performed in the service of clinical research studies. Receives and interprets request, or instructions for procedures. Edits and when necessary registers patients in the computerized Radiology Information System (RIS) as well as the work list management portion of the HIS-RIS inter
