Summary
Registered Nurse / RN Interventional Radiology is Responsible for maintaining optimum care of geriatric, adult, adolescent, and pediatric, patient population in the Imaging Department. The Registered Nurse / RN serves as a clinical resource person for the Imaging Department. Registered Nurse / RN Assists in scheduling interventional procedures. Registered Nurse / RN Serves as a liaison between nursing staff in Patient Care Areas, and the Imaging Department. Assists with quality improvement monitoring, problem identification, remedial action activities and reporting. The Registered Nurse must demonstrate competencies related to the use of moderate sedation. The RN reviews orders/test results and documents care delivered accurately and timely in the electronic health record
Qualifications:
Education
Required: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing Preferred: Academic degree in nursing (Bachelors or Masters degree)
Experience: 2 years of Interventional, Critical Care, or Emergency care experience. Pediatric experience is preferred.
Certifications
Required: RN Licensed for Florida, American Heart Association ACLS, PALS, & BLS certifications.
