Work Hours/Shift:

You Will Be Responsible For:
Responsible for the care and safety of patients undergoing treatment and use of equipment to minimize hazards of electric shock, burns and extraneous radiation to patients.
Responsible for safe handling of equipment.
Instructs and prepares patients for roentgenographic, fluoroscopic and CT examinations.
Performs all aspects of patient care in an environment that optimizes patient safety and reduces the likelihood of medical/health care errors.
Takes x-ray, CAT, and CT calls according to monthly schedule after the closing of the regular department hours.
Qualifications
What You Will Need:
2 years Associate Degree
Internship/Clinicals with course of study
Registrations ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologist), LRT State of Kansas
Certifications: R: Current CPR certification within one month of hire
Job Summary:
Performs imaging procedures for the purpose of providing diagnostic interpretation including trauma radiography, surgery radiography, and CT procedures. Assists with filing and reporting system within the department and registers patients as needed. Assist radiologist as necessary.
