The Department of Radiology, Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, is seeking an experienced, board-certified, MQSA-qualified candidate to join the Breast and Body Imaging group at our regional facility in Commack, New York on Long Island. This facility offers the highest standard of comprehensive cancer care in an environment designed to meet the unique needs of cancer patients and their families. Imaging services include CT, MRI, PET/CT, US, breast imaging/procedures, and radiography.
The candidate should be board certified or eligible in diagnostic radiology, and fellowship-trained in Breast and/or Body Radiology. Ability to perform stereotactic, ultrasound-guided and MRI-guided breast biopsies is required. The candidate should have excellent clinical ability in breast and oncologic body imaging, clinical research experience, and strong interpersonal skills. The candidate must be eligible for medical licensure in New York and New Jersey, and otherwise qualified for an appointment to the MSKCC faculty
The ideal candidate possesses a strong track record of superb clinical service, dynamic and effective communication skills, academic accomplishment, and excellence in teaching. Articulating a shared vision of excellence in clinical care, research and education, he or she will foster a sense of community and unity among service members.
Clinical appointments will be made within MSKCC and academic appointments at Weill Cornell Medical College, commensurate with experience and accomplishments. MSKCC offers a competitive salary and benefits.
