The Nuclear Medicine Technologist, under the direction of the Lead Technologist and/or Radiologist, performs a variety of technical procedures that require independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative in utilization of radionuclides for the diagnosis and treatment of disease in humans. Participates in and exhibits good Medical Center and Radiology guest relations. Must understand and comply with State and Federal standards for radiation safety. Graduate of accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology Program; must hold a valid State of New Jersey license and be registered by the A.R.R.T. or the N.T.C.B.
