The fellowship offers outstanding learning and academic opportunities in one of the busiest chest and cardiac imaging centers in NYC. The fellow will spend approximately half of their time dealing with all things related to chest imaging (CXR, CT, CTA, CT guided lung biopsy), while the other half will be spent working intimately with the Mount Sinai cardiac team where 20-30 cardiac CTA studies and 7 cardiac MRIs are typically performed on a daily basis. The fellow will be exposed to a wide variety of oncologic diseases and treatments, complex cardiac pathology, and innovative new technologies, such as PET/MRI, through our Translational Molecular Imaging Institute (TMII). One day per week will also be provided for dedicated research time. Other responsibilities include attendance and preparation for weekly inter-disciplinary conferences (rad-path conference, tumor boards, interesting pulmonary conference). There are NO call responsibilities, so the candidate will be able to focus on optimizing their educational and research interests. We also offer a travel stipend for conference attendance.
Interested applicants should send their CV to Katharina Wang, Program Manager (email@example.com).
