This position requires radiology technologists (R) skills, also performs all screening and diagnostic mammography studies (3D) to include needle localization biopsies and needle aspirations utilizing established policies and procedures and ARRT, CRT and FDA-MQSA standards ensuring optimal diagnostic quality. Collects data, inputs into the mammography information system and prepares documentation required by Federal and State agencies. Archives data into the PACS system and maintains accurate records of daily operations.
Completion of an accredited Radiology Technologist program
Training in 3-D Mammography
Minimum of five years experience as a Mammography Technologist, at least 3 years of Lead Mammography Technologist experience
3D tomography experience
Stereotactic biopsy experience
Able to complete all modality competency forms
MQSA, mammography QC, and E.Q.U.I.P experience required
MRS and Epic experience preferred
Current ARRT radiology (R) registry required.
Current ARRT mammography (M) registry required or registry eligible within 3 months from hire date
Current California RT license or ability to obtain prior to start date
Current California Mammography license or ability to obtain prior to start date
Current CPR/BLS certification by the American Heart Association (BLS for the Healthcare Provider) or ability to obtain prior to start date
