The Neurology Division at Lahey Hospital & Medical Center in Burlington, MA, has an immediate opportunity for a motivated EEG Technician. Sign-on Bonus of $3,000.00 as well as an out-of-state relocation bonus of $3,000.00 for registered and experienced technicians may be available. In addition to ABRET registration or eligibility, ideal candidates should have at least one year in an EEG Lab as a trainee, or experience typically associated with the completion of an accredited EEG certification program. Candidate should have knowledge of basic principles of, common diseases encountered in the practice of EEG testing, proper use of technical instruments as well as the ability to provide exceptional customer service.
Our busy Neurology Division has approximately 40 providers (MDs, PhDs, and APCs). We have a Neurology Intensive Care Unit (4-6 beds), as well as 2 inpatient Epilepsy Monitoring beds that will soon be upgrading to 4. We have 2 Primary Epilepsy providers, Dr. Ritu Bagla and Dr. Joanna Suski, and 3 other MDs who are responsible for reading EEG studies (Dr. Kit Mui, Dr. Paul Gross and Dr. Jayashri Srinivasan). We also have a busy laboratory where you will be joined by other experienced EEG technicians, and state-of-the-art Nihon Kohden equipment.
