Uses appropriate critical thinking and judgement in the provision of care. Performs all aspects of treatment based on accepted national, departmental and evidence-based standards. Provides treatment that meets or exceeds department outcome standards.
Demonstrates initiative in individual professional development. Actively promotes the profession within Regional Health and to the outside community.
Incorporates and educates patient, family and caregivers in treatment, goal setting and discharge planning as appropriate.
Must hold state licensure in South Dakota as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
Must hold Certificate of Clinical Competence through the American Speech Hearing Association.
Will consider clinicians going into their Clinical Fellowship Year.
