Under the oversight of the Radiology Director, pro-actively manages the operations of JCMC's Radiology Department. Drives quality improvement. Works to promote and advance diagnostic services within Jersey City and surrounding markets. Strives to constantly improve efficiencies, minimize customer waits and increase customer satisfaction. Offer a comprehensive spectrum of excellent radiology services, including overseeing radiology and diagnostic imaging procedures and troubleshooting any related issues of imaging equipment, not limited to, x-ray machines, fluoroscopes, computerized tomography (CT) scanners, or magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) equipment. Accomplishes radiology human resource objectives by selecting, orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, appraising job contributions; recommending compensation actions; adhering to policies and procedures.
Graduate of an accredited Imaging program recognized by the American College of Radiology and the State of New Jersey. Acquisition and maintenance of relevant New Jersey license. Bachelor's degree in business or an applicable healthcare field; Master's level preferred. Three (3) to five (5) years Radiology specialty experience with a minimum of two (2) years in a supervisory or administrative role. Experience as a manager in an outpatient setting is preferred. Current BLS.
