Provides patient services, using diagnostic, portable and fluoroscopic equipment. The technologist is competent in the production of quality images to be used by physicians for patient diagnosis and treatment Supervises and performs those duties involved with a variety of technical procedures applying ionizing radiation or other forms of energy. Scheduling of technologists. Supervises needed repairs and work progress within areas of designated responsibility. Interacts with nursing units, other ancillary areas for efficient, effective patient care. Licensed by the State of New Jersey as a Radiologic Technologist or Nuclear Medicine technologist. Preferred Registered by the ARRT of Radiological Technologists. Minimum of 5 years experience in radiology. Minimum of 3 years experience in supervisory position.
