Under general supervision, the CT Technologist must be competent to perform all routine and Special CT Scan procedures within the scope of the CT Imaging Services Department to include biopsy an abscess drainage. And is competent to perform routine CT procedures as assigned The CT Technologist must demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients. He or she must be able to asses and interpret data about the patient's status in order to identify each patient age-specific needs.
This position will assist with coverage for third shift and on-call for weekends. Intermittent day shifts are offered during holidays and vacations.
One year experience performing Special and Routine CT scan procedures on the geriatric, adult, child, and neonate patients populations OR Two years experience with the routine CT procedures performed on geriatric, adult, adolescent, child, and neonate patient populations.
Preferred, at least one year Radiological Technologist with a performance which consistently meets the standards in all performance categories.
