Radiologist – Nuclear Medicine Division
Practice: Progressive Physician Associates (PPA) is a large interdisciplinary private practice group of over 100 providers that includes Diagnostic Radiologists, Interventional Radiologists, Vascular Surgeons and Advanced Practitioners. We are the exclusive service provider for St. Luke’s University Health Network (SLUHN) in Lehigh Valley, PA. We are proud to partner with SLUHN to support their Radiology Residency Program.
Our Network: SLUHN, is a growing regional/tertiary network of 15 hospitals, specialty clinics and imaging centers serving the Lehigh Valley community in Northeastern Pennsylvania and Western New Jersey. We are an Academic institution with extensive residency and fellowship programs as well as a Medical School. As a GE show site, the network offers state of the art, standardized equipment across network hospitals and imaging sites, as well as a unified PACS system. The SLUHN Nuclear Medicine department was awarded the Radiopharmaceutical Therapy Center of Excellence designation for our Theranostics program
Who we are seeking: PPA is seeking a fellowship trained dual boarded PET-CT/Nuclear Medicine Radiologist. This team-oriented physician must be comfortable with the full complement of Nuclear Medicine studies and PET-CT interpretations. The candidate should have experience with or be willing to learn theranostics, including Xofigo, I-131, Lutathera and Pluvicto therapies. General Body Imaging is also required, and candidate should be willing to participate in general diagnostic imaging to support the needs of the group. Must demonstrate a commitment to providing excellent clinical care, teach radiology residents onsite and participate in scholarly activity. The ideal candidate should have an interest in participating in clinical trials. A strong interest in reading cardiac PET-CT is encouraged. The candidate will uphold the tradition of strong interdisciplinary collaboration working closely with SLUHN specialists to deliver world class care in a network recognized with several Top 100 Hospital awards by IBM/ Watson Health™ and Fortune/Merative®. The ideal candidate will continue providing support to the growing Oncology, Cardiology, Urology, and Neurology service lines.
Qualifications:
- Successful completion of an ACGME accredited Nuclear Medicine fellowship
- ABR certification, medical licensure/eligibility to practice in Pennsylvania and New Jersey
- Board Certification or board eligible by the American Board of Nuclear Medicine or a CAQ in Nuclear Radiology from the American Board of Radiology
