- Nuclear Medicine Radiologist (Tucson, AZ, onsite or fully remote)
Description
Radiology Ltd. is seeking a followship-trained Nuclear Medicine Radiologist to join our team. We are a large, subspecialty radiology practice in Southern Arizona operating 11 outpatient imaging centers. We support subspecialty cancer care in our region with a large oncology referral base. We offer FDG, PSMA, and Dotatate whole body PET/CT and FDG and Florbetapir (Amyvid) brain PET/CT. Our group also supports a busy nuclear medicine department of a local hospital partner in Tucson which offers all standard general nuclear medicine studies, cardiac SPECT and various SPECT/CT applications. The department also administers radionuclide therapies including I-131, Ra-223, Y-90, and Lu-177 . We are looking for a radiologist skilled in cancer imaging, expertise in PET/CT and interest in nuclear medicine imaging.
Position Summary:
Schedule: Daytime Only
Location: Tucson, Arizona (Onsite, Hybrid and Remote available)
- $50,000-75,000 Sign-on Bonus (onsite role)
- Employee track with flexible work schedule and competitive compensation
- Lucrative partnership track with $650,000 base, $700,000+ earning potential
- 4.5-day work week with no nights required
- 11 -12 weeks vacation

PACS System: Merge PACS
Dictation Software: PowerScribe 360
RIS (patient history/previous reports/orders are fully paperless): Royal
HIS (Hospital information system): Epic
Software: Mirada – nuclear medicine specialty software
All applications are fully integrated and launch when opening a case.
Worklists are prioritized for urgency and efficiency.
Credentialing and onboarding are fully supported by administrative staff.

Requirements
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree
- Fellowship training in Nuclear Medicine / Radiology (ABNM or ABR CAQ)
- ABR certified or if recent graduate, board eligible
- Experienced in the utilization of radioactive materials and advanced imaging techniques (such as SPECT and PET) to create detailed images of the body’s internal structures and functions
- Experienced in administration of radiopharmaceuticals to patients and interpretation of the resulting images to diagnose conditions such as cancer, heart disease, and neurological disorders
- Work closely with other medical professionals, including oncologists and primary care physicians, to develop and implement treatment plans based on imaging results
- Ensure the safety of patients and staff by following strict protocols for handling radioactive substances and minimizing radiation exposure
- Commitment to providing high-quality patient care
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with comfort speaking to ordering physicians and clinical staff as needed
- Highly motivated to be successful in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a healthcare team
