Musculoskeletal Radiology Faculty Position – Weill Cornell Medicine (NYC)
The Department of Radiology at Weill Cornell Medicine (along with its partners NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital and Weill Cornell Imaging at NewYork-Presbyterian) seeks a full-time faculty member to join our expanding Musculoskeletal Imaging division. We are a highly collaborative group of 9 FTE radiologists who work together to provide optimal patient care and education for our residents and medical students.
Weill Cornell Medicine emphasizes clinical excellence and patient-centered care in conjunction with work-life balance and a collegial atmosphere for all its employees. Our main hospital is located on the Upper East Side of Manhattan with additional imaging sites in Lower Manhattan and Long Island City. This is a daytime position with a combination of on-site and remote shifts (home workstation), as well as 1 non-clinical day per week to pursue your interests in scholarship, education, and/or administration.
The successful candidate will have an MD/DO degree, American Board of Radiology certification or eligibility, and dedicated fellowship training in musculoskeletal imaging. New York State medical license will be required at the time of employment.
Responsibilities:
Musculoskeletal imaging interpretation (XR, CT, MRI, ultrasound)
Teaching and supervising residents
Optional moonlighting opportunities
Salary ranges between $300,000 - $550,000 and is commensurate with qualifications and experience.
Weill Cornell Medicine provides the above salary range in compliance with the New York City law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range listed is for fulltime employment not including bonuses, clinical incentive compensation, or benefits. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors including but not limited to internal equity, specialty, training, and hospital/community needs.
The above salary range for New York City based roles represents WCM’s good faith and reasonable estimate of possible compensation at the time of posting.
