MUSCULOSKELETAL RADIOLOGIST

The Department of Radiology at the University of Florida is actively recruiting to fill a position for a radiologist at the rank of Clinical Assistant/Associate/Professor. This is a full-time, non-tenure track position with primary assignments at UF Health Shands in Gainesville, Florida. The position will provide coverage in Musculoskeletal Radiology.
Minimum requirements include an M.D. or D.O. degree. Completion of a musculoskeletal radiology fellowship is preferred but not required. Candidates must be Board Certified in Radiology (or Board Eligible) and must obtain a medical license in the State of Florida prior to employment. Responsibilities include patient care and teaching of residents and fellows. Scholarly activity is supported. Candidates should be proficient with musculoskeletal imaging modalities and procedures.
UF Health Shands is a Level I Trauma and tertiary referral center with full subspecialty representation. Musculoskeletal radiologists work primarily at a freestanding outpatient center with busy Orthopedic Oncology, Sports Medicine, Upper Extremity, and Joint Reconstruction practices and frequent interaction with Orthopedic faculty.
Gainesville, with a metropolitan population of 350,000, is home to a major public university and Division I athletics programs. The area offers public and private schools, a growing technology sector, and access to outdoor recreation. Gainesville is located less than 1½ hours from both the Atlantic and Gulf coasts and approximately two hours from Orlando, Tampa, and Jacksonville.
