The Department of Radiological Sciences at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA is recruiting for a full-time Health Science Clinical track faculty (all professorial ranks) to join our Cardiothoracic Imaging Section. UCLA, a well-known leader in cardiothoracic imaging, offers a robust, stimulating, and stable environment for academic careers in cardiothoracic imaging.
Candidates must be eligible for California licensure and American Board of Radiology certification and have completed a one-year chest or cardiothoracic imaging fellowship. This position covers both the thoracic and diagnostic cardiovascular clinical imaging services and requires expertise in both sub-specialty areas. The Department is seeking candidates with the potential for being outstanding in the above-noted requirements in clinical work, and teaching. A collegial attitude and commitment to teamwork is highly favored.
The posted UC salary scales (https://www.ucop.edu/academic-personnel-programs/compensation/index.html) set the minimum pay determined by rank and step at appointment. See Table 5 Scale 7. The salary range for this position is $307,700-$597,300. This position includes membership in the Health Sciences Compensation Plan (https://www.ucop.edu/academic-personnel-programs/_files/apm/apm-670.pdf), which provides for eligibility for additional compensation.
