The Department of Radiology at Weill Cornell Medicine, in partnership with New York-Presbyterian Hospital, is excited to invite applications for a full-time faculty position in Breast Imaging to join our nationally regarded and growing Division of Breast Imaging.
The successful candidate will have an MD or DO degree, American Board of Radiology certification or eligibility, and dedicated fellowship training in breast imaging, and must be eligible to obtain a New York State medical license. We are seeking a collaborative and patient-centered radiologist who enjoys working closely with patients and referring clinicians and who is interested in contributing to a highly collegial academic environment.
Our Division of Breast Imaging includes 28 outstanding faculty members and provides the full spectrum of breast imaging services across several outpatient and hospital-based sites in Manhattan and Brooklyn, including digital mammography, tomosynthesis, contrast enhanced mammography, breast ultrasound, breast MRI, and image-guided procedures. Our faculty are deeply engaged in clinical care, education, and innovation, and we take great pride in mentoring residents and fellows from our nationally recognized training programs.
We offer a supportive and collaborative practice environment, with protected time for academic pursuits, including clinical research, education, quality improvement, and program development. Our division is actively advancing initiatives in risk-based screening, artificial intelligence, and patient-centered breast imaging care, offering many opportunities for faculty to shape the future of the field.

Salary base ranges between $330,000 - $550,000 commensurate with qualifications and experience with additional compensation such as generous ad hoc dedicated breast imaging voluntary moonlighting, excellence bonuses, as well as wellness and academic enrichment funds. Weill Cornell Medicine offers a competitive benefits package, including ample Continuing Medical Education (CME) and vacation days, college tuition and childcare reimbursement, tuition exemption for faculty members who wish to pursue graduate programs, retirement plans, and excellent health and dental coverage.
Weill Cornell Medicine provides the above salary range in compliance with the New York City law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range listed is for fulltime employment not including bonuses, clinical incentive compensation, or benefits. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors including but not limited to internal equity, specialty, training, and hospital/community needs.
