The Department of Radiology at the University of Vermont Health, in affiliation with The Robert Larnern, M.D. College of Medicine at the University of Vermont, is seeking a Diagnostic Radiologist at Central Vermont Medical Center (CVMC) in Berlin, Vermont. This is a 0.75FTE position to provide on-site radiology services.
Job Highlights:
- Interpret all diagnostic radiology studies for adult patients including mammography as well as basic pediatric imaging.
- Interventional procedures are limited to arthrograms and joint injections.
- Loan repayment assistance is available through the UVM Health Medical Group Inc.
- Teaching of medical students and radiology residents is possible if desired.
- Physicians at 0.75 FTE are eligible for a comprehensive benefits package provided by the UVMH Medical Group Inc.
- Additional benefits such as vacation time, CME days and allowances are pro-rated accordingly (UVMH Medical Group Inc.)
About the Central Vermont Medical Center (CVMC):
- CVMC is the primary health care provider for the 66,000 people who live and work in Central Vermont.
- The hospital provides 24-hour emergency care, with a full spectrum of inpatient and outpatient services, with after-hours work covered by a nighthawk service.
- Vermont is a beautiful, safe, and active place to live and has continually been voted as one of the nicest places in which to live due to the four seasons of outdoor activities
- Berlin is minutes away from world-class skiing, 1.5 hours by car from Montreal.
- Nearby Burlington has an international airport with direct flights to major airports on the east coast and Midwest.
Position Details for 0.75 FTE:
- This is a Clinical Scholar Pathway position, with the Rank of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor.
- Applicants must have completed an ABR-certified or eligible fellowship to be considered.
- Competitive compensation package commensurate with experience.
The anticipated salary ranges for this position are:
- Assistant Professor: $393,041
- Associate Professor: $403,041
- Professor: $413,041
The referenced salary ranges reflect the combined total range based on dual employment by both the University of Vermont and the University of Vermont Health Medical Group. The salary ranges do not include all components of compensation. Therefore, the actual compensation paid to the selected candidate may vary from the salary ranges stated herein.
