| Body MR Job Opportunity Dallas, Texas |
American Radiology Associates (ARA) is currently seeking candidates for a position in the Body MR Section of our Body Imaging Division. The candidate should be board certified when applying or within one year of joining the group and should have rigorous training in body MR, including a fellowship in general body MR, abdominal imaging, or cardiovascular imaging. The candidate should be a skilled and enthusiastic teacher and first or last author of 3+ articles in peer-reviewed journals. The candidate will work with four other body MR specialists, whose overall schedule includes approximately one dedicated body MR day/week and three general body imaging days/week. Body MR days include cardiovascular, hepatopancreaticobiliary, enterography, rectal, defecography, renal, bladder, prostate, female pelvis, and peripheral nerve cases. Because of the clinical environment, the position also requires demonstrated ability to interpret MSK MR exams (though most of this work is covered by our MSK Division) and to perform arthrograms, joint aspirations, and general fluoroscopy, including HSG’s. Mammography credentialing and ability to perform thyroid biopsies and myelograms are a plus. The position does not include more intensive interventional work, which is handled by our IR Division, or breast MR, which is handled by our Breast Division.
