The Department of Radiology at The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Division of Abdominal Imaging, is seeking fellowship trained faculty members for January 1, 2019 or later. These are full-time, fixed-term appointments. The Abdominal Imaging team at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Department of Radiology is a dedicated group of healthcare professionals committed to providing high-quality patient care, research, and educational programs for our patients, the institution, and the community at large, utilizing and promoting innovation in diagnostic imaging and therapies for benign and malignant oncologic diseases.

Skills required include familiarity with all modalities including MRI of the abdomen and pelvis, CT, US (including US guided procedures) and abdominal fluoroscopy. The successful candidate will be expected to participate in clinical research and demonstrate academic productivity. State of the art equipment includes 8 MR units including two 3T, 10 multidetector CT scanners, some with cardiac and temporal imaging software and 15 US machines, all with Doppler capability.
Applicants must have an M.D. or equivalent degree and have demonstrated excellent qualifications in education, research, and clinical care. Applicants must be American Board of Radiology certified or eligible and have completed an Abdominal Imaging fellowship or equivalent subspecialty training.
