The Interventional Radiology supervisor assumes responsibility and accountability for planning and providing direct/indirect care to patients, families, and appropriate others under the direct supervision of the Director of Imaging Services and the Interventional Radiologists.Â Coordinates multi-disciplinary team members, directs and educates other nursing personnel and staff to provide and facilitate optimal health care outcomes in accordance with MMH policies and procedures, standards and philosophy.
Ability to integrate nursing theory into practice using nursing process.
Performs a variety of interventional and diagnostic procedures under direction of the radiologist.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to problem-solves and works effectively with patients, families, staff and physicians.
Ability to plan and organize the work of the team
Ability to work independently and in teams.
Responsible for the management of all clinical and non-clinical activities in Interventional Radiology.
