Cleveland Clinic, one of the world’s most distinguished academic medical centers, announces a search for the Department Chair of Regional Radiology within the Imaging Institute.
The Department of Regional Radiology includes an extensive system of 10+ community hospitals, ambulatory care facilities, as well as imaging centers in the Greater Cleveland, Ohio area, Ashtabula, Ohio and North Hawaii affiliates. The Department of Regional Radiology also oversees the overnight radiographic services for entire enterprise. The Department of Regional Radiology includes approximately 75 radiologists and in 2017 there were 1,114,620 exams preformed. There is considerable complexity related to the services provided at all facilities. The ideal candidate will be Board Certified by the American Board of Radiology with experience leading in a large integrated healthcare organization. Candidates should have excellent clinical, leadership, and administrative skills as well as a high degree of understanding of all aspects of technology relevant to radiology practice including informatics topics and applications of advancing technology. The main responsibility of the Chair of Regional Radiology is to maintain high quality timely service 24/7, 365 days per year. The Chair of Regional Radiology reports directly to the Chair of the Cleveland Clinic Imaging Institute.
