The Department of Radiology at the LSU Health Sciences Center in Shreveport is seeking applicants for a full time Neuroradiologist to join our academic team. This position is at the rank of Assistant Professor. The candidate must be an ABR board certified or board eligible fellowship-trained radiologist who has completed a fellowship in Neuroradiology or holds a Certificate of Added Qualification in Neuroradiology (ABR CAQ). As a member of our Neuroradiology team, the successful candidate will focus primarily on multimodal neuroimaging interpretation with opportunities to assist in other subspecialties according to their interest or expertise. It is desirable that the candidate have expertise in advanced neuroimaging techniques, including functional MRI, DTI, MR Spectroscopy, resting state fMRI, and CT/MR perfusion. All faculty are responsible for mentoring and teaching diagnostic radiology residents, fellows, and medical students. Research opportunities are available and are encouraged. Our research team includes a Bioengineer, Neurobiologist, Neurologists, Neurosurgeons, and Psychiatrists.
